Polish Honorary Scientific Aleksander von Humboldt Scholarship for eminent German scholars who plan a research stay in a Polish scientific unit, which will honour the scientific achievements of the beneficiaries and will stimulate long-term cooperation between Polish and German researchers. The scholarship is the equivalent of the Humboldt-Forschungspreis, a prestigious distinction for foreign scholars of the well-known Alexander von Humboldt German Foundation (Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung).
